Hyperacidity is a serious condition and it should be treated as such. It is essential to visit a medical practitioner if a bout of hyperacidity lasts for more than two weeks. Complications of hyperacidity can be untreatable sometimes. Practicing a healthy lifestyle is one of the best precautions.
